Hej Alle!!!  Undskyld til alle missionærerne!! Apparently none of you have been able to read my emails because Maas blocks the blog links so sorry! I am alive and doing well!!  This week was pretty awesome! Had a whole bunch of Dansk calls and did a lot of listening to Mormons Bog! We have been doing a lot of memeber work and memeber lessons which are always so fun! I love the members here they are just the absolute best, they are so faithful and so kind! We also had Zone Conference and got to hear from President and Sister Henderson who are the best! They talked about happiness and reminded us that God is aware of and loves us!  Sunday was the best because it was my first Sunday at church as a missionary! It was very strange to go back, only about 30 people showed up and we were all socially distant and in masks. But the spirit was there and you could tell everyone was so grateful to be able to come back even if it was only for a short time and we couldn't visit with

Hej Alle!  This week has been kind of crazy!! Honestly can't remember most of it but here are some of the highlights (and low lights lol) that I do: - Sissy's Baptism!! It was so special to be able to see Sissy get baptized! She was so happy and excited and the spirit was so strong!! Being there reminded me of how  important baptism really is, the power that comes from making covenants or promises with God, and the peace and joy that comes from knowing you are doing exactly what he wants you to be!  -Interviews with Prez Henderson !! Because I don't really have problems to talk about we mostly just chatted and he told me some stories about his Son in law in the State Department. Good reminder and motivation!!  -Danish calls!! Had 3 danish calls this week which was awesome!! I still feel like a child but I hope I am making progress ahha. One of the calls was a group called with a bunch of the other reassigned sisters from different MTC groups so it was super

"That Sounded Like a Curse to Me!" Søster Severson's Mission Adventures Week 17 Fayetteville, NC

This week was an experience, I can't even remember when it began but it's been one.  Highlight #1  Spontaneous hike when service feel through. Turns out there is a like 4-wheeler dirt pit / trail right near our apartment that had some super cute train tracks- we were quite sweaty but it was 10/10 fun.  Highlight #2  Calling Krista!! Also a low light because we really gotta pass her off to her local Elders now. But she is so awesome and has such a deep understanding of the gospel already that we trust that she will be more than fine.  Highlight #3  We called out friend Josh who we have been trying to teach for a while but hasn't been that interested. But we called him and prayed with him and Sister Butler promised MAD blessings. I think he just stared at us while we prayed and then afterward he just goes "... that... sounded like a curse..." nah Josh that's just the Spirit.  For my spiritual thought for this blog I just wanted to say that I love b

Hi all!! Not much to report on this week. We had three people we were actively teaching all go completely MIA for like two weeks but this week we were able to get back into contact with all three of them so that's good!!  We had some lessons with some super awesome members and this week and were even able to go eat outside with some of them! There is a new couple in the ward and the wife is GF and she made us the absolute best gluten-free pizza. She is so cute she also trained my Relief Society President Nia from BYU Hawaii when they were both Missionaries which it just so crazy to me!! #BLESSED  We are teaching a really awesome lady named Jill who we haven't been able to meet in person because she is older and we teach her over the phone, but we get to go over and have a lesson with her outside this week and we are so excited!! Sister Butler and I are placing bets on what she actually looks like because we have no idea.  Spiritual thought is from President Hender

Hej!!!  Not sure exactly when this will get sent out but I am actually writing this on Saturday because on our usual P-day (Monday) we aren't allowed to leave our apartments! Yay Hurricane season!!! Hurricane Isaias is headed our way. Kind of exciting. I didn't get official weather while in Hawaii, but I don't mind a good storm. Either was this 'week' was really good!! It was sad to say goodbye to friends with transfers but I guess that is just part of the miss and now we get to meet and make new friends!!  Facebook has been keeping us super super busy, they have started running ads on our pages which means we get a LOT of crazy incoherent people spamming us but that's how you find the elect I guess ?  We made a list of all the countries around the world we have met/ contacted people from through Facebook. Promises fulfilled that we would be teaching people from around the world!!  Nothing much new to report- little bit jealous of the sisters who jus
