a little corner of me

Hej alle! 100% True what they say about days being long but weeks being short while you are on a mission... this week has flown by. Thursday: We had our first follow up TRC. (practice teaching... no idea what the acronym actually stands for..) It went really well especially considering our first one with this friend was a little bit of a disaster, this one was super awesome! We talked about prayer and how it can connect us to God, and by praying we can receive direction in our lives.  Friday: Great routine day- learning about names of family members  p å Dansk Saturday: Practice meeting people. Way harder than you would think, especially because Danes would rather talk about their intimate lives than their religion with a stranger... It was a little rough, we were pretty awkward. Søster Clark and I wrote some pretty legit tongue twisters (ok so they are really just alliterations, that make no sense in English. Or Danish, but we were proud.)  Sunday: Shout out to the Larsen F

Hej allsamen! It has been a crazy week here at the online missionary training center! I have two awesome companions Søster Clark (from Utah!) and Søster Maquiling (from the Philippines!) that are also in my District (group) going to Denmark! Our daily schedule so far looks something like this: 6:00 wake up, get ready for the day! 7:00 sometimes workshops about being a missionary, but mostly listening to Mormons Bog p å Dansk and reading along in English  8:00-11:00 Class!!! Class with Søster Clark in the mornings (while Søster Maquiling is sleeping) we practice grammar and learn about culture and how to teach people about the gospel.  11:00 Personal Study! It has been so fun to spend time studying the scriptures and deepening my own knowledge of the gospel, my studying has felt much more focused since actually becoming a missionary 12:00 Lunch! 1:00-3:00 Language Study!
