Image
Hej!! Hope everyone has had a good week!! We have been busy here in Hope Mills here are some of the highlights!!  - spontaneous Halloween party we were invited to last minute! Ended up being just us and one other family which was a little awkward because they had invited like 40 people but that's just Covid  -spontaneous cotton field!! Found my first cotton field in the south coming back from service. Pretty legendary. -spontaneous bible bashing!! Calling referrals is always a treat. Especially when the person who referred themselves is already a minister?? For another church?? And just want to go bash??? Why? We don't know. We just try and use the spirit, testify, and avoid contention (But for the record what minister teaches that Jesus Christ is not the center of the gospel?? What bible are you reading??)  - spontaneous prayer night!! The one week we decided to cancel our prayer night and our ZLs said they were banking on it for one of their investigators... henc

Hej!!! Here's the week in rewind for y'all!  - Carves pumpkins for P-day last week. Lots of fun, good district bonding, they are already wilted though because of the humidity but please enjoy these cute pics - We were able to go over and have dinner with a couple young member families this week and it was SO much fun. All the children were insane, something about meeting with Missionaries literally brings out the worst in children, could not tell you why but yeah. It low key made Sister Wing and I super excited to be moms and have crazy children. They were so much fun and gave us giant rice crispy treats. The best.  - Finally taught the Word of Wisdom!! Not as scary or awkward as I thought it would be which was good. Still not a fan though of teaching those commandment lessons, we are working on it.  Spiritual thought: The member lesson we taught this week was from 2 Nephi 12:16 "Therefore let your light so shine before this people, that they may see your goo

Hej Alle!!  Hope everyone has had an awesome week!! Not a ton to report on, we had a pretty low key week until this weekend when our car broke down. Sad day.  We had the Elders come and jump it and then we drove to the car place, and were there for a few hours until they told us they had to order a new battery and they had to keep it over night. So we started walking home only to get #caught by one of our stake presidency members who was absolutely appalled that we would even consider walking home so him and his wife picked us up and got us thai food #blessings.  We also survived transfers!! Sister Wing and I are sticking together here in Hope Mills for another seven weeks. Because things got so shaken up last transfer pretty much everyone is staying put for now, which we are fine with.  We have also met some super sweet members and had to say goodbye to some of our favourites. It's weird serving around so many young military families because they come and go so fas

The Maurers are the very sweetest! We did some heart attacking to our awesome members. They instructed the Missionaries not to leave their apartments Tuesday night because of a hurricane. But we had #placestobe. So we drove an hour and a half through the pitch black up to Raleigh in the middle of a storm. Just type two fun thingz  Wednesday: Slept on the couch at the Sisters apartment in Raleigh, woke up at 4:00 in the morning to go to the airport and catch my 6:30 flight to Chicago! Went rogue in Chicago. lol. No one gave me any information besides my flight information and the address of the Consulate. I got to wander the city as a stag missionary. Called the nearest church building and found some Sisters- they were confused but we had fun!! Had my Danish visa interview which was  s t r
