A long week folks!!! Happy post Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas?!? What the heck has this year turned it to? I swear it was just a few weeks ago that I got my call and now it has almost been a full year...  (on that note, still no news on Denmark last we heard our visas will take 6+ months to process so we will see if I'm even still a missionary at that point)  ((jokes but for realzies I will probably get there with only 3-4 months left and that's also assuming things don't get worse with Covid))  This week was fun though! Pretty low key because everyone was doing their own things for Thanksgiving. Got to call the family and talk for a while because we were told not to contact anyone after 5 on Thanksgiving. We were able to go to a members house and eat on their back porch. The Quicks are such a blessing, gonna miss them.  Oh yeah BIG News of the week is that I'm getting transferred !!! Finally leaving Hope Mills after six months (4 transfers). Don't know where I&#

Hej Alle!!  This week was incredibly boring so there isn't a ton to report on here, but here are some super basic things I am grateful for!!  1. Family- love those guys crazy miss the siblings :(( but I love getting to talk to them every week!  2. Nature- we got to go to the botanical gardens today and it was so amazing just to get out and be in nature!!  3. Food- especially thanksgiving food... aka the best kind of food, also super grateful for members willing to go out of their way to make sure I have GF food for the holidays 4. The gospel- really can't even compete. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life and for being able to share it as a missionary! I don't know how many times I can say it, the church is true folks.  Hope everyone can find ways to #givethanks this week!! Remember "it's not happy people who are grateful, its grateful people who are happy!"  Love you all! Find more ways to be grateful.💕 Søster Severson  (Please enjoy 'Canadian Mo

For some reason the past two weeks we have had to stay inside for a couple days (for the election because they were worried about riots and then this week because of flash flooding). So we have been doing the same things over and over and over again :)  We did have some slight variation this week: - We had presidents interviews which were a great good time. Absolutely love the Maurers they are the bomb.  - Had a ton of lessons fall through.. not really that different from most of the time but did meet some cool people. Felt the gift of tongues when we were talking to some SOUTHERN southern people and Sister Wing could not understand them because of their accents. To be honest I hope I pick up

Hej! Jeg hÃ¥ber at I er godt!! Kind of a #roughweek here in the NCRM for me.  Basically had a ton of members #gluten me, so I was super sick. Det var IKKE sjovt. But I am not dead yet and we did a lot this week. So here are some highlights!!!  - Exchanges!! So much fun!! I got to hang out with Sister King here in Hope Mills for the day, we had a super fun meal with a part member family. Both the husband and wife are from CA and speak Arabic, wow the goal. We went to seminary and talked about how the Book of Mormon is essential for conversion.  - Zone Conference!! Also a ton of fun, always good to see the other Missionaries. We got some awesome trainings from our APs and President Maurer and talked about how we can be effective during these Covid times.  - We helped one of our favorite members move which was a sad day :(( but helping her out was a ton of fun a couple member families showed up and they were the best. Highlight of the week was when Bro. Shakespeare was helping the Elders
