Mormon's Bog Blitz-Søster Severson's Adventures in Sønderborg, Jan 25, 2021 Week 40

Hvordan gÃ¥r det mine venner !!? This week was pretty sweet ! We were super sad to hear that the sisters who were supposed to come this last week weren't able to make it, but Cartie and I were able to stay together and saw some miracles from this week. President Olsen challenged us to give out a Book of Mormon on Saturday and another on Sunday (and in all honestly Carter and I hate being told what to do...@ the entire Severson family) so out of spite we gave out 6 and it was awesome! We gave out the most of all the sisters and 2nd most total (shout out to the Odense elders for giving out 19?? In 1 day somehow?? What legends??)  We were able to meet and I was able to get to know a lot of people Sister Carter knows because we thought she was leaving right away but we had extra time which was good! We went on blitz splits with the Aalborg Søstre, Søster Peterson and Søster Port and it was so much fun!! We had some really awesome conversations and got some Facebook contacts out of it!

Hey everybody!!! We had a super busy, super exhausting, super fun week this week!! And I hit halfway!!! 9 months down and only 9 to go... Tuesday: the Odense Elders came down for Adrian's baptismal interview, we filmed a musical number for Zone Conference and had lunch together.  Wednesday: our car broke down for the second time this week so we were hard core sisters and just walked everywhere most of the week. We had a zone conference which was super fun!! Thursday: Sister Carter and Skousen had to get biometrics done to stay in the country so what did that mean? You guessed it, another impromptu splits with Clark!!! Esbjerg drove down Wednesday night so they slept over and then Søster Clark and I hit the streetz and had some really fun conversations.  Thursday/Friday: both pretty low key, walked a lot but were able to pick up our car on Friday!!  Saturday: Adrian's Baptism!!! It was such a sweet experience to be able to witness Adrian getting baptized. The spirit was so str

What the heck happened this week? I'm not entirely sure, but here are some highlights: - Made me #legal in Denmark by checking into the Kommune  - Splits with the Sister Training Leaders!! So much fun, so so intimidating though like w o w they are hard core but it was actually great!  - Splits with Søster Clark!! Absolute highlight of the week, somehow we have managed to see each other every week since we have been in Denmark and this one was no exception. We got to go on mini exchanges and hit the streetz, we were excellent at starting conversations but had no idea how to keep them going lololol but we are learning!!! And our Danish is improving!!!  - Met with Adrian a whole bunch and he is ready to get baptized on Saturday!! Woohoo!! Also met with our friend  Ã…nor from Iceland who has the a lot of #deepthoughts and is a gem.  - Car broke down lol why this happens so much I don't know, but we made a new friend out of it so were are going to baptize him. It will have been wort

Happy New Year Danish Style- Godt Nytår! Søster Severson's Adventures in Sønderborg, Jan 4, 2021 Week 37

Godt NytÃ¥r! Happy New Year to all the friends and family wherever you may be. This week was a lot of fun. We taught some fun lessons, had a Mission wide conference, and met with some fun people for New Years Eve. Our Mission Conference was good. We got to introduce ourselves and bear our testimonies in English. Mission wide conferences include the Iceland Elders, and their Icelandic is different enough they don't understand Danish. The APs did some training, President talked and introduced the incoming Mission President and his wife who will arrive June 30th. They are from Sweden. We are hyped to meet them! This is my 4th Mission President, so I've been through this before, but each couple has so much to offer. We are excited! A Senior Mission couple made us some great traditional Danish food as a District socially distanced. Then we got to watch the new Disney Movie Soul, which was absolutely precious! Had a great lesson with Adrian, who will get baptized soon. Super excited
