DENMARK COPENHAGEN MISSION!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I AM SO EXCITED! When I woke up this morning I kept telling myself that it would be ok if my call didn't come today or wasn't to where I expected. BUT IT DID COME AND I'M SO HAPPY!
As I was praying this morning I felt an overwhelming feeling that it wouldn't be somewhere I was expecting but that it would be absolutely where I am supposed to go. So when I opened it up and I saw Denmark it just felt so right! It checked every box I had, and didn't know I had.
Good weather that leans more chilly, likely lots of Gluten-free food available, friendly people, there is a temple in Denmark, I get to learn a language (for the most part immersion except they all speak English... guess we will just have to work extra hard on Danish), and it's just like a super cool place?!?!
So I get to learn DANISH! Umm what?! Because of that, it looks like I have to leave for the MTC April 15th... in the middle of finals... so I have some things to take care of before I leave. But like worth it because best mission call ever!! I think they must only teach Danish intermittently or not send out lots of missionaries which is why I was called 16 days before my availability. And like a week before my birthday, kinda cool to get to turn 19 in the MTC though. The Copenhagen Mission also includes the Faroe Islands as well as Iceland and Greenland.
But looking back the timing of everything has been working itself out long before my call was assigned. Going through the temple while I was home, the timing on shipping my car back... coming to BYUH in the first place... all of it. (As long as none of my professors burn me at the stake for having to take my finals early)...
92 DAYS!!!
