Weekly -Søster Severson's Adventures in Ballerup Denmark August 9, 2021 Week 68

This week was good, but I am tired today. Said goodbye to the MTC group ahead of us. Sad our time together in Denmark is done. Took final pictures, and swung by the Frederiksborg Castle or Slot in Danish. So many great memories serving with these friends! 

Spiritual thought is Hebrews 13:1-2 "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares."

This week has reminded me of all the amazing connections I have made all over the world. God is directing our paths, and He is literally blessing us with the people and places we need most. Have courage and be kind. The world is small!

  Hej med jer!!!  Denne sidste uge tog vi op til København, og det var bare hyggelig.  *(Prepare yourself for way too long of a weekly undskyld)  This last week our district, (our sub group of missionaries so us in Sønderborg, the Frederacia Søstre, and Odense Elders and Sisters) got to go to Copenhagen for the day!!! But tbh the whole week was too much fun. Because of how far away we are, (tak sønderborg) we got to do double sleepovers in Frederacia with Søster Hofmann and Søster Taylor !! So we drove up Monday night, spent the day in Copenhagen, then drove back on Wednesday morning.  Copenhagen was SO much fun. We got to go to the Temple and do baptisms for the dead. It was the first time I've been able to go to the temple since Hawaii and it was a super special experience. Nothing can compare to the overwhelming peace and clarity of being inside a temple. It made me so grateful that I was able to go through so often before my mission, A little sad the temples...

Hurricane Isaias- Søster Severson's Mission Adventures in Fayetteville, NC Week 15

Hej!!!  Not sure exactly when this will get sent out but I am actually writing this on Saturday because on our usual P-day (Monday) we aren't allowed to leave our apartments! Yay Hurricane season!!! Hurricane Isaias is headed our way. Kind of exciting. I didn't get official weather while in Hawaii, but I don't mind a good storm. Either was this 'week' was really good!! It was sad to say goodbye to friends with transfers but I guess that is just part of the miss and now we get to meet and make new friends!!  Facebook has been keeping us super super busy, they have started running ads on our pages which means we get a LOT of crazy incoherent people spamming us but that's how you find the elect I guess ?  We made a list of all the countries around the world we have met/ contacted people from through Facebook. Moving Apartments-Søster Severson's Adventures in Horsens Denmark, May 10, 2021 Week 55

 Hej! Today we moved apartments here in Horsens. We have been packing since 6:30 am this morning, and now I'm tired. Our new apartment is great, and we feel lucky to be here. We've got an amazing view out our window. #blessings. Saturday we had our Zone Conference in Odense, and as usual I loved seeing old friends. We even got to eat lunch as a group. First time for everything. Søster Skousen and I recorded a couple of podcasts, and we'll make those public in a few years. For now, we'll continue to expand our ability to understand the principles of the gospel, and we'll grow our testimonies one discussion at a time. We've got S. English and S. Port helping us with Instagram, and we're excited to keep things moving forward. Miracles have been everywhere this past week.
