  Hej! Today we met with Peter, a friend who had met with the missionaries a while ago. He had been taught most of the lessons, but it had been a minute since any missionaries had met with him. We weren't expecting anything revolutionary from our visit, as he hadn't asked to be baptized right away. But as we met, I became more intent on listening. I began to feel the spirit of truth through our discussion, and I was honestly touched by Peter's testimony. God hears and answers our prayers. A favorite scripture comes to mind in Matthew 6:6 "But thou, when thou prayest enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. " I'm always surprised when someone reminds me of something I'm supposed to be teaching them. Maybe it's God's way of reminding me He loves me enough to drop hints of personal revelation into my daily path? Maybe I'm reminded ...

 Hi everyone!! Hope you're all doing well, I apologize for being a little MIA the last couple of weeks but I'm alive and doing good! Seven weeks left and trying to power through it !!  This week was a lot of fun! Two highlights were the temple and mission conference!  .....well... it was supposed to be a mission conference.... until half the mission got put in quarantine (whoops!) So our "mission conference" ended up being out district (aka the entire island of Sjælland) + the elders from Iceland!!  We are tech missionaries right now so we gave a two hour training where we broke into workshops to learn about aesthetics, Reels, Danish Connect, YouTube, filming and lighting, and content creation. Did someone say social media influences? Sometimes I still can't believe this is missionary work...  But it was SUPER fun to meet all the Icelandic Elders, we went to Vor Frue Kirke with them too to see the Kristus statue (again lol, perks of being close to KBH;)  On...

 This week! Sometimes all we can do is turn to the scriptures friends. Today's offering comes from D&C 6:21-23: 21  Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Son of God   . I am the same that came unto mine own    and mine own received me not. I am the light  which shineth in darkness , and the darkness comprehendeth it not. 22  Verily, verily, I say unto you, if you desire a further witness, cast your mind upon the night that you cried unto me in your heart, that you might know concerning the truth of these things. 23  Did I not speak peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God? After a disappointing cancellation this week, we took pictures for a future post. Serious bummer. (You might see these babies again.....) This week was good, but I am tired today. Said goodbye to the MTC group ahead of us. Sad our time together in Denmark is done. Took final pictures, and swung by the Frederiksborg Castle or Slot in Danish. So many great memories serving with these friends!  Spiritual thought is Hebrews 13:1-2 "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." This week has reminded me of all the amazing connections I have made all over the world. God is directing our paths, and He is literally blessing us with the people and places we need most. Have courage and be kind. The world is small! Love Søster Severson

 This was a special kind of week:  - Did some good tech work, we had calls with Croatia and Sweden this week and learned SO MUCH from them about what they are doing with technology work!! If anyone knows any other tech specialists please put me in touch with them because we need the help/ advice!  - splits with my actual favorite person and MTC comp Sister Clark I just love being around her, we had a good time reminiscing about the last 15ish months. So much has happened and so much has changed but it has all flown by.  - sooooooooo on Sunday we went and preached at a SCIENTOLOGY CHURCH... It was so much fun! Sister Scott met them when she was serving on Frederiksberg, and they invited us to come talk at their Friendship Day a little bit about what we believe in. They were all so kind and it was a super unique experience to be able to go to their church. I appreciated how open and accepting they were with respect to other religions.
