Move to Ballerup, Hello to Søster Scott and Our New Technology Empire- Søster Severson's Adventures in Lyngby/Ballerup Denmark July 19, 2021 Week 65
Hej!
Another whirlwind week with sad goodbyes, transfers, and hopefully new beginnings. I can't believe the pre-Covid Missionaries are going home . I am moving to the next ward over to Gladaxe 1, and we'll be living in Ballerup. Sister Williams, Murphy and Sorenson will be living in the same apartment building, just a few apartments away. Good times for sure. The area has been an Elder's area forever, and we found evidence of the crazy things found in Elder's apartments. See photo proof below...
This transfer I will be with Søster Scott, and we are the Mission Tech Sisters. President Mattsson wants to give us a title, but we're good. We'll be continuing to align our Facebook and Instagram pages and soon rolling out training for Missionaries to use their own personal Instagram accounts. Shout out to twin sister Abby for remembering my password.
As part of our farewell tour today, we visited the Little Mermaid, Nyhaven, the Church of Our Lady with the original Christus. I love these friends, they are hilarious. This mission is so small, we are all blessed to get along. The wards here are made of many tendrils of faithful families. I am learning the blessing of families and friends to help us achieve our goals. Couldn't ask for a better group.
Spiritual thought: This past week I shared this thought "It is the very essence of religion not to have a sure answer to every question, for this is one of the purposes of faith. In that regard, Elder Jeffery R. Holland has taught us that "when those moments come and issues surface, the resolution of which is not immediately forthcoming, hold fast to what you already know and stand strong until additional knowledge comes." Ensign or Liahona, May 2013. Hebrews 10:35-37 reads "Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry." God is with us, and He is mindful of us. Hold onto to what you know to be true! And the truth will guide you.
Kh, Much love,
S Sevey
