Vaccine and Sjælland-Søster Severson's Adventures in Horsens Denmark June 21, 2021 Week 61

 It has been a good week!! Unexpectedly my last here in Horsens... but good news I'm going to Lyngby in København!! København is on the island of Sjælland.

If you remember from last week, sister Skousen and I found out we were going to be training a new Danish sister together but president changed his mind and now Sister Skousen is training and I am leaving. 
I will be with Sister Williams though and we will be serving in what will be our new mission President's home ward. Still over Instagram and still helping with Danish Connect, just a little closer to the rest of the tech stuff. 

I'm a little nervous to be leaving Jylland, I like the jysk they speak here and am a little scared of the super speedy Københavnsk. But it will be an adventure and maybe I will learn to speak super speedy Danish too. 

This week was pretty low key, we did a lot of knocking and contacting which was a good last goodbye to Horsens. And I got my first vaccine shot!! Yaya!!

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

 Hej! Today we moved apartments here in Horsens. We have been packing since 6:30 am this morning, and now I'm tired. Our new apartment is great, and we feel lucky to be here. We've got an amazing view out our window. #blessings. Saturday we had our Zone Conference in Odense, and as usual I loved seeing old friends. We even got to eat lunch as a group. First time for everything. Søster Skousen and I recorded a couple of podcasts, and we'll make those public in a few years. For now, we'll continue to expand our ability to understand the principles of the gospel, and we'll grow our testimonies one discussion at a time. We've got S. English and S. Port helping us with Instagram, and we're excited to keep things moving forward. Miracles have been everywhere this past week. A List of Crazy People I Have Met so Far

The title should say it all...      We'll we made it to Hawaii and it is SO HOT and HUMID here. Hopefully I adjust but then again hopefully it just cools down a little bit.      Most of the people I've met here are incredibly nice, quick to smile, and eager to offer help. Genuinely some of the nicest people ever.    That being said there are also a few crazies so here's a list of the one's I've encountered so far: The screaming man outside of Wendy's who started yelling at a worker for cleaning up 'his' table that he apparently uses every day. He told the poor guy to 'go back to India'... yeah the worker was definitely not Indian. But then again the Crazy Guy had an accent and wasn't from the States (or native Hawaiian) either so I'm not really sure why he thought he had the authority to tell anyone to go anywhere. One Year Older (And Hopefully Wiser Too?) Søster Severson's Adventures in Sønderborg Denmark, April 19, 2021 Week 52

  Hej med jer!!!  Denne sidste uge tog vi op til København, og det var bare hyggelig.  *(Prepare yourself for way too long of a weekly undskyld)  This last week our district, (our sub group of missionaries so us in Sønderborg, the Frederacia Søstre, and Odense Elders and Sisters) got to go to Copenhagen for the day!!! But tbh the whole week was too much fun. Because of how far away we are, (tak sønderborg) we got to do double sleepovers in Frederacia with Søster Hofmann and Søster Taylor !! So we drove up Monday night, spent the day in Copenhagen, then drove back on Wednesday morning.  Copenhagen was SO much fun. We got to go to the Temple and do baptisms for the dead. It was the first time I've been able to go to the temple since Hawaii and it was a super special experience. Nothing can compare to the overwhelming peace and clarity of being inside a temple. It made me so grateful that I was able to go through so often before my mission, A little sad the temples...
