The Coolest Classes EVER (hopefully)
WELL. I think I have all my classes nailed down and let me just say I am SO READY FOR CLASS TO START!!!
Here is the best freshman classes ever: (that will probably do absolutely NOTHING for my degree or will change my entire life plan so that I can become a religious studies professor AKA the only job I flip flop state department with in my head)
Here is the best freshman classes ever: (that will probably do absolutely NOTHING for my degree or will change my entire life plan so that I can become a religious studies professor AKA the only job I flip flop state department with in my head)
- BOOK OF MORMON DOCTRINE: yeah I have to take a religion class... figured it might as well be one that was also kind of a mission prep class even though they don't offer any actual mission preps.
- HISTORY OF CIVILIZATION TO 1500: dope history class that might put me on par with Blake and Josh's master historian skills... I can at least try.
- INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS: Possibly the dream, FSO State Department style but I figured that I should probably take an international relations class before I commit to majoring in it. Also we have our first reading assignment and it's by Kant so we love that.
- INTERCULTURAL PEACEBUILDING: An entire class devoted to learning about peace??? Super cool!?! Also I've read both of the text books already and they look super awesome so I'm excited for it, also it's in the McKay Foyer which is the super pretty main building at the front with the mosaic so that's awesome.
- BIBLICAL GREEK: The coolest randomest class that will either be completely useless of change my life completely maybe both you never know. But mom and I ran into the professor completely by accident we just asked the first guy walking by where one of my rooms was and it ended up being somewhere super random but he helped us find it and walked us over there and he mentioned that this is the first semester they are offering biblical greek and it won't be offered again until 2021 so I ended up switching out my other 8 am for it and I'm really excited.
So there we go, maybe the most useless random collection of classes (notice not a single math, science, or English class) but I'm so down so that's A OK because what else am I supposed to do in Hawaii for a year?
